Materiality (Priority Issue)
Congrès Inc. will contribute to the realization of a society in line with the UN SDGs that “Leaves No One Behind,” while promoting the sustainable growth of our business and employees.
Identification of 4 Materialities (Priority Issues)
Under the three fundamental principles of Congrès Inc.: "Commitment to putting quality first," "Contribution to society through regional development and internationalization," and "Capable staff gathered together as part of the Congrès team," we have been creating various fora for communication and interaction, including international conferences such as the G7 Summit, medical conferences such as the General Assembly of the Japan Medical Congress, as well as cultural and tourist facilities since our establishment in 1990.
Today, we are once again being asked how we can address the issues facing society through our business activities. We have identified the following important issues that we must address on a priority basis while leveraging our strengths in order to grow sustainably with society in the future.
In the identification process, using the 17 targets and 169 targets of the SDGs as a guideline, all divisions participated in identifying issues and activities through interviews with each division and confirming consistency with the management philosophy and mid-term management plan. The entire company, including directors, senior management, and employees, reaffirms that these initiatives are positioned as important to promote sustainable growth of our business and employees, and we will continue to promote solutions to societal issues through the creation and advancement of sustainable fora for MICE.
4 Materialities (Priority Issues)
The 4 Materialities (Priority Issues) of Congrès Inc. consist of two issues related to its mainstay convention and exhibition/event business and facility management business, and two issues that should be addressed by the entire company as a business foundation, such as human resource development, workplace environment creation, compliance, and partnership building. By approaching these issues from both business activity-related and business foundation perspectives, we aim to integrate sustainability activities into management.
