It was a great honor to serve as General Chair of ICRA2024, the flagship international conference in robotics and automation. With over 7,000 participants and the largest co-located exhibition in the event’s history, the conference was a major undertaking. This award is a recognition of the dedicated preparations by the members of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in Japan and the extensive collaboration that transcended organizational boundaries. The success of HSR2024 would not have been possible without the unified efforts of local government, industry, academia, and civil society in establishing a strong hosting framework, as well as the outstanding operational capabilities of Congrès Inc., who provided unwavering support as the Professional Congress Organizer. I am deeply grateful for the successful delivery of the first-ever HSR conference in Japan, which welcomed more than 1,500 participants from 110 countries and regions. This award is an honor we share with “ALL Nagasaki” and with your organization. We look forward to continuing our collaboration toward the further development of Nagasaki as an international city.

First launched in 2016, PCR Tokyo Valves is the region's leading Course on valvular interventions. The organising team would like to sincerely thank the Course Directors, faculty members, participants, and partners who all contributed to the success of the 2026 edition, which counted a record attendance of 1,402 participants.

The Preparatory Meeting of the Global Fund 5th Replenishment was held in Tokyo on 16-17 December 2015. This high profile meeting was attended by some 150 participants from around the world including Ministerial level delegates.
I was delighted with the level of service provided by Mr. Masahiko Hagiwara and his team. From coordinating transportation for VIPs, to organizing complex audiovisual requirement, to providing event management support during the Preparatory Meeting, all tasks were completed to perfection which contributed to the very smooth execution of the event overall.
